SEM May Main Challenge #28

This month main challenge from Scrapping Everyday Miracles (SEM) is about all things have become new. Tracey S. picks the theme based on Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” Isn’t it a wonderful truth to know that we – who in Christ – are new creations, everything in our lives have become new. We have new life when we come to Jesus and be born again in Him.

Here’s the challenge:

For this month’s main challenge we would like you to share a project that represents something new in your life. You can reflect on a new relationship, a new phase of life, an event that brought change into your life, a new job, hobby, volunteer opportunity, or even a book or Scripture verse that has given you new insight. God blesses us with everyday miracles – sometimes big and sometimes small – that bring change and new opportunities to our lives. Your project doesn’t need to be about a recent event, but needs to represent something new in your life.

SCRAP TWIST: USE SOMETHING ON YOUR PROJECT THAT IS MORE THAN A YEAR OLD – THE OLDER THE BETTER, “AND” SOMETHING NEW TO YOU IN 2013. These supplies may be purchased, given to you, or even found objects. Be sure to tell us in your project blog post what these supplies are.

For this challenge, I created Baby E’s first baby scrapbook (got a lot to catch up she’s 8 months now!!!!). Old stuff I used on this page are the baby banner, wordbit stickers, tag, and I punched the butterflies from pattern paper I have. I have these stuff since 2010. I guess that pretty old, right? 😀 and the new stuff I used on the page is the gold glitter alpha sticker, doily, and the SMASH book, of course.
