Day 2: Glittered Pumpkin – Craft with Kids

Fall is one of our favorite time of year. We love the weather, the beautiful color of the leaves around us, and this year is more interesting because I can do more craft with my pre-schooler.

Today I would love to share with you how you can make this little glittered pumpkin, that you also can do with your kids. and have fun! I hope these pictures can show you the steps. But if you any questions, just leave a comment and I will reply you 🙂

Gather you supplies. They are easy to find at your local stores, or dollar stores, or even Walmart.
Do you see that clear stones? I will post about it tomorrow 🙂

Use the small brush to add the Mod Podge on the pumpkin. She did it like a pro!
To avoid a crazy sticky mess, I had paper towel ready under it.
You can cover all the pumpkin with Mod Podge, but she decided to skip one “bump”

Get a paper plate for the glittering the pumpkin. It is easy that way to catch the glitter and put the rest of them back in the bottle. I used the glitter in the shaker bottle, easy for her just to shake it out on the pumpkin.

After all done, you might wanna let it sits for overnight out for good result.
She did that only in about 15 minutes (of course things happened in the middle of the process of glittering, like she wanted to clean the glitter off her hands each time!)
But I am so proud of her! She wants it to be on our mantle for decoration.

“Mama, look at my hands! They all glittered! Hahaha!”

You can tell… we had so much fun with glitter! 😀
