Day 18: DIY Rosette Ornament

One way to remember memories from our trips, or past year, or something special in our life is by having ornaments from places we visited, or we created something to remember it. I have been making ornaments for family to remember God’s goodness and blessings in our lives every year. Our oldest girl is big enough to remember things that happened. She asked lots of questions last year every time she put an ornament on the Christmas tree.

Today I made this paper rosette ornament with “Peace” word on it to remind us of God’s peace that He has put in our hearts and minds through all the year. That’s one of the blessings and this is only of the ornaments I plan to make this year.

I used Sparkle and Shine paper packet, cut 2 strips of 3/4″ x 12″ using the Paper Trimmer and scored them using Bone Folder for every 1/2″. On one back of the rosette, I glued a piece of Natural Hemp for the hook and then I glued them using the glue dots (worked amazingly!). On a 3/4″ x 3″ of White Daisy cardstock, I stamped word “Peace” from Stamp of the Month, Scandinavian Wishes using Cranberry Exclusive Ink Stamp Pad. I used the 3D foam tape for adding dimension to the banner and added a Opagues Pearl adhesive gem on the other side.

This rosette ornament actual size is 1,5″ in diameter. You can make in any sizes easily using the Cricut® Artiste Collection!

I hope you like it 😀
