SEM November Challenge: To Be Thankful Is To Be Truly Content

New month, new challenge. I cannot believe that we are already in NOVEMBER!!!! That means Thanksgiving is so close and Christmas is approaching. And I still have a long list to do for these two Holidays 🙂

Giving thanks to GOD is not just this couple of months, every day I am reminded by God’s word to be thankful and always giving thanks to Him in any circumstances. I have some favorite verses that constantly reminding me to be thankful, here are some of them:

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1Corinthians 15:57, ESV)

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, ESV)

Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. (Colossians 4:2, ESV)

Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:5-6)

God’s word never fading, it lasts forever! I am thankful for this new life I have in Christ Jesus!

So, this month, Scrapping Everyday Miracles has a new challenge for you. It is the month of giving thanks, so Roberta comes up with the theme, “To Be Thankful Is To Be Truly Content.” So the challenge is you create a project using the word or phrase “thanks, thanksgiving, thankful, thankfulness, give thanks” somewhere on your project!

I created this digital layout of my two daughters and it is the “must have to be printed and be on the wall” kindda layout…

I created the layout using Studio J, the Close To My Heart Online Scrapbooking. The paper pack and elements I used are Huntington. It is very easy and quick to create a layout with Studio J and they can print it for you as well with a great bundle offer.

I hope you like it and will play along with us at Scrapping Everyday Miracles this month. Don’t forget that the challenge is to create a project suing the word or phrase “thanks, thanksgiving, thankful, thankfulness, give thanks,” on your projects. Link up your project HERE (DIRECT LINK to the project, not your general blog) by November 21, 2013, and our winner will be announced on SEM Blog on November 28, 2013.  Here’s the prize you can win:

This prize includes an acrylic stamp set from Close To My Heart, a complete chipboard alphabet set from K & Company, buttons from Martha Stewart, 3 new spools of premium ribbon from American Crafts, diecuts from Keller’s Kreations, a twine bundle from My Mind’s Eye, and more!
